The Top 5 Reasons We Made An EcoHitch For The 2015 Subaru WRX

The wait is over.  Torklift Central now offers an EcoHitch for the 2015 Subaru WRX.  There are plenty of reasons why a hidden trailer hitch and the new Subie are a perfect match for each other. The following are just the top five.

I
Hitch-Mounted Bike Racks

It’s easy to find less expensive trunk-mounted bike racks on the market than the hitch-mounted racks we recommend for EcoHitch.  Cheap? Sure.  But the lower price comes with a notorious side effect of causing damage to your paint job over time.

Furthermore, if you’d like to store things in your WRX’s trunk, hitch-mounted bike racks give you access to them without having to be removed, adjusted or cajoled.  We’re firm believers you shouldn’t have to battle an inanimate object to locate your trail mix.

II
Cargo Trays

Cargo trays make a great case for themselves on the 2015 WRX for a number of outdoorsy reasons, most of which revolve around the endless variety of things you can haul with them:
  • Racing Tires
For track days, rally days, and days when you just want to show off the fact you literally drive the tires off your car.
  • All The Outdoor Gear You Should Have Left At Home
Hauling these items in a cargo tray saves space inside the WRX for all the stuff that you probably should have left there.
  • Coolers
These bulky and often times leaky burdens do a great job of preserving your food and drink. They can also take up the cabin space of several full-grown men.  Enter the cargo tray.  As an added bonus, your WRX will automatically chill a cargo tray-mounted cooler at speed.

III
Drilling

We’ve found that most WRX owners don’t want to drill into the roof, frame, or really any other portion of their car just to take their toys and extra cargo along for the ride.  EcoHitch is a 100% bolt-on application.  Absolutely no drilling is required.

IV
EcoHitch is Invisible

You might call it “ingenious,” or “common sense” that EcoHitch is completely hidden behind the rear fog-light knockout panel on the WRX’s bumper.  In either case, EcoHitch is invisible, won’t affect your car’s ground clearance and is designed to complement underbody airflow.

V
We Love Subaru

Hailing from the great northwest, we’ve taken a liking to all things Subie (even the Brat).  That’s why we’re happy to make EcoHitch’s for Forester, Outback, Legacy, Impreza, XV Crosstrek, and now the 2015 WRX.
