We love seeing the interesting and unique ways people use their Subaru WRX hitch. We have seen it used for bike racks, cargo trays, towing a small trailer and more. Peter stated that he had another “unexpected benefit, I don’t need to spend on a rear cross brace, your hitch does a terrific job at stiffening the rear end.”

Our EcoHitch is designed to meet stringent national safety standards and complement the aerodynamic contours of your car so that it doesn’t slow you down in any kind of driving condition. Unfortunately, driving conditions aren’t always the best and accidents do happen. A week after installing his EcoHitch, Peter’s WRX was hit at a stop sign and it shifted the entire rear of the car. Glad everything is ok and there wasn’t a lot of damage

Peter later goes on to say that the EcoHitch “held up beautifully. Only minor body damage and slight warping of the suspension’s alignment.” We’re so glad that Peter was unharmed and that our EcoHitch was able to help prevent further damage to his Subaru WRX.
