Hidden Trailer Hitch for the 2015 Subaru WRX



Torklift Central manufactures a wide-array of EcoHitches for Subaru.  But of all the hidden Subie trailer hitches we offer for Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester and XV Crosstrek, we’ve never seen a bigger buzz around a potential Subaru EcoHitch than for the 2015 WRX.  We’re happy to announce today the wait will soon be over. We’ve begun development of a completely concealed EcoHitch for the car.  Stay tuned!

    I should be receiving my 2015 wrx in a month and I'm ready to purchase this as soon as its available. Let me know if you need an email if they are ready to go

    We are not currently offering any group buys but we do offer free shipping to the lower 48 states to keep cost of the EcoHitch at a minimum.

    1.25 or 2 inch? Which is best for bike rack and for towing a small kayak trailer?

      The EcoHitch is available with both 1.25" and 2" receivers. Accessories such as bike racks and kayak trailers are more common in 2" applications. We recommend taking a look at the fitment sizes of the specific accessories you would like to use with the hitch to make a decision on the 1.25" or 2" hitch.

    What is the towing capacity of the 2015 WRX?

      2015 Subaru WRX is not rated for towing from the manufacturer. Although EcoHitch for the vehicle is rated for 350lbs tongue weight, 3,500lbs towing weight, towing is at the sole discretion of the vehicle owner. We recommend checking your owner's manual to learn more about the automaker's guidelines for your WRX.

    i need to tow a 230 pd dirtbike as long as the 2" receiver matches the single ramp trailer im trying to get i should be good right?.

    The 2" receiver fitment of Ecohitch for the 2015 WRX is compatible with towing a
    trailer. You must keep your trailer’s pulling weight and tongue weight within the
    weight limits of the Ecohitch. Although the Ecohitch has a towing capacity, your
    vehicle’s towing capacity may be lesser than the given rating of the Ecohitch. We
    always recommend that you stay within your vehicle manufacturer's tow ratings.
    Towing with EcoHitch is at your own discretion.
