You don’t have to be Dick Tracy to know Torklift Central is on a never-ending quest to fabricate custom EcoHitches.  Every new EcoHitch we develop challenges us to outperform competitor hitches in quality, competitive price, and functionality. When we got our hands on a 2014 Toyota Highlander recently, we embarked on several days of top-secret development in our shop.  We’re ready now to officially announce the latest addition to our EcoHitch family.  If you still don’t know what makes an EcoHitch special, read on.

Unlike other factory or aftermarket hitches, every EcoHitch is completely hidden behind the vehicle’s bumper to maintain a sleek non-obtrusive design aesthetic.

In keeping with the EcoHitch ethos, the 2014 Highlander EcoHitch is a bolt-on application that utilizes the pre-existing holes in the vehicle’s frame – absolutely no drilling is required.  With the proper tools, anyone who knows their way around a wrench should find installation is a straightforward process that can be performed at home or by a trusted installation shop.

Thanks to the precision craftsmanship of Torklift Central’s expert technicians, the 2014 Toyota Highlander EcoHitch is rated for 500lbs tongue weight, and 5,000lbs weight carrying*.  Although these capacities exceed the official tow ratings of the Highlander, Torklift Central engineers over-manufacture every EcoHitch to withstand the demands and rigors of continued use.
